My testing of photo blogging.

I have been reading recently, a blog that was introduced not over the world wide web, but through word of mouth. It contains alot of photography, the I must add, is quite good.

Ahhh, the old days of talking to one another, and not emailing them.

I don't think this picture was supposed to be kept, but It ended up on here anyways.

This was quite a while back, possibly in August of 2009. My girlfriend and I took a nice walk to the local grain elevator, which is no longer in use, for a small photo session.

Back to School.

It creeps up on young children, and haunts them in their sleep. It brings out the worst in procrastinating teenagers, and the best in over-stressed parents. Winter break is over, and it's time for school once again.

I have been waiting patiently for school to come back around the bend for just over a month now. Dec 10th was the last day I was in school, and that was finals week. I was ecstatic, with my grades being the best they've been in recent memory, I was excited to know that I was coming back this semester.

My college life seems like it's overworked and overstressed, but I enjoy the stress, and the work involved in going to school as a full time student, and working two part time jobs to make ends meet. As a customer service associate at a local electronics and entertainment store, and a cashier a family owned grocer, I actually have it quite easy as a student.

I major in Computer support technician, and I'm hoping to begin my minor in Journalism this semester. For the last two semesters, I've taken Computer Classes, Networking, A+ certification, and all that good stuff. I am just now, in my fourth semester at a local community college, beginning to take other classes besides what I originally thought I would be good at.

I start school in two days, and in three days time I will have my new Canon Rebel XSi Digital SLR camera. so my blogs will begin to have some, and more photos.

Anatomy of fire.

Today is another chilly day in Kansas! High of just above 10 degrees.

It started out very strangely in fact, just yesterday morning, my girlfriends mothers boyfriend of about 6 years, sadly had his house catch fire near 4 A.M. on an even colder morning than today. It has been determined that that cause of the fire was not a fireplace gone awry, or a stove, it was two laptops, sitting on top of one another while charging overnight. Apparently they overheated and the batteries blew up, sparking a stack of newspapers, and nearby drapes to catch ablaze.

The reason I bring up this story, is that my smoke alarm in my parents house went off bright and early at 8:40 A.M. and believe me folks, that's bright and early for me. All in all, It gave me quite a scare. So I rose out of my bed, which is right by the fire alarm, and opened the door, as I didn't smell any smoke, looked every which way for fire, and proceeded out the door, to run into my mom, with my 6 month old brother, having a panic attack. I decided that there was no danger of fire, just a bad battery in a fire alarm, I replaced it soon after.

Chocolate Oranges

Hello All,

As you can probably notice, this is my very first post. I am officially a N00B at something once again. I have been wanting to start a blog for a very long time, I just have never really managed to get around to it. I think of the topics I could write about, technology, videogames, computers, teen life, college life, Honda automobiles, or maybe even my love for Bullhead jeans. There are many blogs out there already, and I hope to start reading many of them soon.

I will start off my blog-quest with a short one at most.

My name is Joseph Griffin, I live in a small town of about 1,600 people in middle of nowhere Kansas. I live within blocks of both my High School, and grade school, and within miles of my very first job as a dishwasher. That was 4 years ago, Now I work at a nearby entertainment store, and a hometown grocery store. I enjoy working at both of these places, as I am very sociable with locals and I love entertainment! I drive a 1994 Acura Integra LS and a 1994 BMW 740i. I have a wonderful girlfriend, and an incredible family.

Well, that was my first post.

I hope you enjoyed it!

now it's back to Forza Motorsport 3 for the xbox 360!
